Before joining Connected Freight, Calvin already has hands-on tech experience in CI/CD, software architecture, relational databases, and various programming languages. However, this did not stop him from appreciating the people who have supported him in his journey, especially on his recent promotion as a Senior Software Engineer.

Aside from the support provided by his Line Manager, he also had the opportunity to be mentored by Richard (the Team's Principal Engineer), who, in Calvin's description, "is the "god of software engineering" - with vast experience and knowledge of designing and developing software. He is patient and does a fantastic job in coaching us, at the same time having a vision of how the architecture should be in the future, and working towards the goal. He is also great with soft skills and conflict resolution."
