These gatherings were about having some fun after a tough year, but also about strengthening teamwork, communication, and collaboration. On September 6-7, we embarked on an adventure in Singapore, and on September 13-14, our journey continued in the Philippines.

In the heart of the Lion City, our team came together for two action-packed days. From problem-solving challenges to trust-building exercises, our Singapore event was designed to push boundaries, encourage creativity, and foster closer connections among our colleagues.
Over a couple of days, we engaged in sessions focused on culture, values, vision, and mission. We also dived into our products as we expanded on how to bring our mission of optimizing supply chains and goods movement to life.
We also spent time on challenges that enhanced our teamwork and leadership skills, which tested the team’s capabilities and brought everyone closer.
As one of the team members mentioned, "by far the best team bonding activities I've done, not the usual games/activities, and there's objective and meaning behind each one."
Moving from the Lion City to the vibrant streets of Manila, our Philippines team-building event took us on a journey of self-discovery and unity. Building on the foundation laid in Singapore, our Philippines team continued the theme, further solidifying our alignment with Connected Freight's core purpose.
We had a bunch of fun yet challenging exercises that helped us get to know each other better, reinforcing the significance of trust and teamwork and deepening the connections between colleagues – many of whom were meeting for the first time. As one of our teammates said: “…I feel I am more responsible for everyone than before!"
One of the highlights of these activities was the opportunity for team members who had been working together virtually for years to meet face-to-face. While virtual collaboration works, nothing can truly replace the bonds formed in person. "We finally got to meet each other for the first time. I got to know my colleagues more than work… I can't wait for the next company event."
You just can’t beat the warmth of handshakes and hugs, the laughter shared over meals, the teamwork in real life, and the value of human connection.
